Waking up at our respective times, arriving at school before 7:45, and departing on a coach at 8:30, our trip to Malaysia had begun. On our trip we had learned many things. For example, we had learned how to pick up trash. Trash was visible throughout the local river on Mt. Gunung Ledang. Picking up litter is an important skill to have as we don't really use it often in a place like Singapore; especially when we've been raised in a very clean environment. Additionally, we also did many group activities. these consisted of: tent-making, fire-making, cooking, etc. By being able to learn more survival skills in a different environment and learning while having fun is the most important skill in a camp. By doing so, we learn more about ourselves and the world around us; becoming global citizens. Overall, our camp was fun. One day passed so fast and now the camp is ending; however, without a doubt, this was definitely a great experience.Dear Grade 7 Students and Families,
